McToogle’s opened in 2003 with a clear-cut mission: to create a Scottish themed Restaurant with live music – and no TV (!), to become a place for conversation with both locals and visitors, and to establish an intimate and friendly atmosphere which is unpretentious and casual. To be sure, the menu is largely North American in style; however, at its heart is our ever-popular traditional section. Some treasures included in this are the steak & mushroom pie, shepherds pie, bangers & mash, and liver & onions. We offer a selection of good food which is well prepared with top ingredients. It comes at a fair price and is complimented by quality ales and lagers, wines and spirits, and personable service. McToogle’s has live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; this features current and past songs that are familiar. It’s a good dose of traditional favourites including Celtic, Folk, Light Rock, and Country tunes which are played at a volume that allows conversation to continue. Angus McToogle’s offers a warm, friendly atmosphere with good service, excellent food, and enjoyable live music in a Scottish-themed environment.
